Since the onset of the pandemic and staying home for what seems like an eternity, my self care peaked, and my bathtub and spa like experiences took center stage. I knew I needed to cultivate a space that was indicative of exactly how I needed to feel.
On top of everything, I moved at the end of August, and the aesthetics of the new place just aren’t the same as the old. I knew that styling, decor and some updates would be important to achieve the look that I desired.
I immediately called my best friend and interior stylist Christen of C Wright Styling Agency. I knew I could tell her bits and pieces of what I wanted and she would deliver.
We decided to go with a neutral palette, bringing in some greenery and a few photos. I love plush textures, and wanted to create a very serene moment for myself. I absolutely hate the floors in my bathroom so we decided to use some peel and stick Calcutta marble tiles to elevate the look of the bathroom. And always change your lightbulbs (when you can) to daytime bulbs. It makes such a huge difference.
