While I’m clearly not going into the office any time soon as a result of COVID, it doesn’t change the fact that I am and have always been obsessed with wrap dresses. Why you ask? Because they gave me the shape that I always wanted.
My affinity for wrap dresses began in high school. I used to go to Marshall’s and TJ Maxx and find the cutest EXPRESS and Calvin Klein wrap dresses that made me feel so feminine. I was a member of the itty bitty titty committee and very athletic as I played soccer, was a cheerleader and a dancer.
The way a wrap dress gave the illusion that I had more shape than a little bit and made it appear I was a bit more busty, you just couldn’t go wrong with it. More importantly, I like things I can carry across seasons. Spring, summer, winter or fall, there is a wrap dress option for them all. I can dress them up or dress them down, layer them or let loose.
